MedSym, Inc. Releases New ConcurMD Suite Build

MedSym, Inc. launched a major new release this week of the ConcurMD Suite, the integrated, multi-specialty core product for ENT/Allergy, Family Practice and Internal Medicine. The Version 7.2 release features important improvements including history taking, a more powerful and flexible treatment list and enhanced reporting capabilities. With the release of the ConcurMD Suite Version 7.2, formerly known as T.I.M.E. (Totally Integrated Medical Enterprise), the product will be addressing the functional benefits of rapid documentation by physicians and nurses.

MedSym is a wholly owned subsidiary of Southeast Cancer Network. Southeast Cancer Network, a privately held healthcare organization, is a 14-site ambulatory care organization with over 300 dedicated associates delivering patient care services spanning the southern United States.

"Our upgraded template-configuration model represents a major step forward in serving specific ambulatory care settings," said Keith Whitley, MedSym's Chief Executive Officer. "It is user controlled, pen-enabled and structured data, but it still allows a tremendous amount of free form and flexible data entry. Furthermore, the template editing capabilities take customization of the ConcurMDEHR to a new level."

The new build brings other enhancements to the product. While physicians are using a history, they can extend it "on the fly." Users can now create their own chief complaint pick lists and organize these pick lists into outlines. In addition, a single touch of the screen can retrieve the most relevant pick list from among many.

MedSym, Inc.
